FAQ

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets are now on sale! Purchase now for early bird pricing!


How much are tickets to Hopfest?

Early-bird tickets for General Admission are available for $10/per ticket through May 12, 2017. Standard/Day-Of tickets for General Admission will be $15/per ticket online on May 13, 2017 and at the door. VIP Tickets are $35 and are available until sold out.


Can I purchase a ticket at the gate?

Yep! However, we encourage everyone who would like to attend to pre-purchase your ticket (also it's cheaper that way!)


How do I pay for a beer?

With a beer token! There will be central locations for purchasing beer tokens at Hopfest. These will be indicated on the festival map, also. You will not be able to pay the breweries directly at their tent. One token = One beer.


how do I pay for food?

We'll have a variety of food trucks at Hopfest! All food vendors will take payment directly at their station.


What's VIP? How do I get a VIP Ticket?

We have VIP tickets available for Hopfest. If you are a VIP, you'll have access to a lot of special benefits (1 hour early entrance with free beer tasting, access to special VIP area, exclusive beers, and much more!) on top of all the General Admission benefits. These tickets cost $35, and we are only releasing 150 of these tickets, so make sure to grab yours before they sell out! Once they are gone, they're gone!


Will there be restrooms?

Of course! We will have a restroom area with port-a-potties + hand washing stations (since this is an outdoor event)


Is smoking permitted?

Yes, however, please dispose of your cigarette butts in designated containers. 


Is this event pet friendly?

We apologize, but due to our vendors and the amount of people, this event is not suitable for pets.


Is re-entrance possible?

No. We will not allow re-entry. If you leave, you will have to pay to come back in.


Are children permitted?

Due to the type of event, only ages 21+ are allowed. 


If a buy a ticket and can't attend, can I get a refund?

We apologize, but this event is non-refundable. 


Can I bring a backpack?

We do not allow backpacks or large bags into the event. 


Can I bring a blanket or folding chair to sit on?

Chairs are not permitted, but you most certainly can carry in a blanket! However, keep in mind that backpacks and large bags are not permitted, so you will have to carry your blanket around.


Can I bring in outside food or drink?

No outside food or drink will be allowed into the event.


What is Tracks Bazaar?

Tracks is where Hopfest will be held for this event! Track is the former Brooks Lumber Yard; a historic part of downtown Greensboro for more than 100 years. We are in the process of repurposing this space to be an entertainment and micro-shops market concept. Tracks will not only host events, but will have permanent food, bar and retail tenants populating the space!


What is Create Your City?

Create Your City is a social entrepreneurship venture which seeks to create the types of events and projects that portray the city we want to live in. This live music in the streets if there are not enough music venues, pop up parks, pop up restaurants, pop up shops, street festivals, mural projects, and bringing in friends and guests to present their ideas and projects to provide inspiration for growth within our community. 


Can I reserve the space at Tracks Bazaar for an event?

Of course! All requests can be made to our Event Coordinator, Alex Flores. You can reach her at thehopfest@gmail.com


Is Hopfest on social media?

It'd be silly if we weren't. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter! We also have some snapchat filters, so always be on the lookout for a hopfest geofilter!


Will there be non-alcoholic beverages available?

Yes! Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale.


What happens if it rains?

Since tickets are non-refundable, a rain date will be selected. If the rain date is not able to be fulfilled within 90 days of the event, we will then provide refunds.


Will there be a first aid station at the event?

Yep! If you need help, someone from our Hop Squad will assist you and direct you to the right location.


What if I have a question during the event?

If you have any questions during the event, you can either speak to someone from our Hop Squad (you'll see them in their designated t-shirts) or visit our HQ station. You will find the HQ station shortly after entering the festival. The HQ station will also be designated on the event maps.
